Our Telemedicine Program
At Encino Senior Living, residents can benefit from our unique connection to the medical and high-tech community. We have installed one of the first telemedicine systems in a residential care facility for the elderly. With permission, we can provide daily physician access both in house and remote using specially designed diagnostic systems. The practice of telemedicine and instant medical supervision, allows for early detection of changes in a resident’s health which can often help prevent the development of more serious medical conditions. Most routine medical care may be managed in house through this process. In the event that a higher level of care is needed, our service professionally guides the care and interacts with the nearest Emergency Department. In addition, our telemedicine service will update the patient’s primary care physician of all developments related to the resident’s health.
